Every little girl dreams about her wedding day, complete with visions of a big beautiful white dress and, of course, the perfect man. But 9-year-old Jayla Cooper didn't have a lifetime to wait for Mr. Right. The Southlake, TX, girl had been battling leukemia for two years, a battle that would end in just a matter of weeks. But what Jayla did have was a groom. He's her best friend, Jose Griggs, 7, a fellow patient at Children's Medical Center in Dallas. Jayla and Jose tied the knot in February 2009 to fulfill her final wish: Getting married in a beautiful wedding, surrounded by family and friends. From the flowers to the banquet hall, donations poured in to give a North Texas bride the wedding of her dreams.

Fabien Pretou, born on June 15, 1968, in France, measuring 188.5 cm (6 ft 2 in) in height, married Natalie Lucius, born on January 19, 1966, 94 cm (3 ft 1 in) tall, at Seyssinet-Pariset, France on 14 April 1990. The height difference is of 94.5 cm (37 in). Their home is custom built for Natalie's convenience.

A 112 year-old Somalian man got married for the sixth time, to a 17-year-old girl. The wedding between Ahmed Muhamed Dore and Safia Abdulleh took place in Guriceel, in the Galguduud region of Somalia. Mr Dore and his teenage bride are from the same village, and he said that he had waited for her to grow up before proposing. At 95 years older than her – if his claimed age is accurate – he is old enough to be her great-great-great-grandfather.

The Angelo couple is in the money…again. The family, made up of Eugene, Sr. (81) and his wife Adeline (74) and the couple's three sons, Eugene, Jr. (48), Steven (47) and Michael (42), is no stranger to money, having won a $2,500,000 share of a $10,000,000 Lotto jackpot in December 1996 as well. The win marks only the third time, in the 29-year history of the New York Lottery's Lotto game, that a player has become a jackpot winner twice. Originally from the Bronx, the Angelo's, who resettled in Mahopac and nearby Brookfield, CT., recalled memories of their first win as they claimed their latest Lottery prize – a $5,000,000 Lotto jackpot from the drawing held on August 18, 2007. The odds of anyone matching all six Lotto numbers from a field of 59 are 1:22,528,737 on a minimum $1 play. Lotto players receive two games for every $1 played. Overall, the odds of winning a Lotto prize are 1:46.02. What a lucky couple!

Douglas Maistre Breger da Silva, born on September 21, 1969, and Claudia Pereira Rocha, born on Septermber 6, 1972, both Brazilian, when married on October 27, 1998, in Curitiba, Brazil, measured 90cm (35 in) and 93cm (36 in) respectively, becoming the world's shortest couple. Together they measure 183cm, less than 6 feet.

Harry and Pepper are a pair of adorable male Magellan penguins at the San Francisco Zoo. The couple's relationship began in 2003, and they were together for the last 6 years. The two black-and-white birds paired off when outgoing Harry befriended Pepper, an introvert who sticks mostly to his burrow. At the time, the two were adolescents and everyone assumed they were just friends. But soon they were nesting together. Harry would gather grass and bring it home to Pepper, who would arrange it tidily in their burrow. Single females would come around, but both birds never seemed interested. They even adopted an egg together in 2008, as the pair was allowed to incubate and hatch an egg another penguin had laid. “Of all of the parents that year, they were the best,” Brown said. “They took very good care of their chick. He ended up being the largest chick on the island.” Sadly the happy couple broke up in 2009.

Anna Haining Swan was born on August 06, 1846 at Mill Brook, Nova Scotia and weighed 18 pounds. At age 5, Anna Swan was 4 feet 8 inches tall, and full grown she reached a dizzying height of 7 feet 5 1/2 inches (about 228cm). Martin Van Buren Bates was born November 9, 1837 and was known as the 'Kentucky Giant', reportedly reaching a height of 7 feet 11 inches, but more accurately it was about 7 feet 2 1/2 inches (219cm).

Herbert and Zelmyra Fisher, of North Carolina, have been married for 85 years as of May 13, 2009. Zelmyra is 101 years old and Herbert turned 104 on June 10th, 2009. They have shared the same home in the Brownsville community of New Bern for 50 years. The two of them can still give their reasons for marrying on May 13, 1924.

It's not too unusual to hear stories of married couples who met online. But it IS unusual when that couple that meets online and marries also has the same name. In this case, it's a guy from Texas named Kelly Hildebrandt and a gal from Florida named Kelly Hildebrandt. They are about to get married. Kelly Hildebrandt met Kelly Hildebrandt when Kelly, the girl, looked up her own name on Facebook. “I was like, ‘I wonder if there's any other Kelly Hildebrandts on Facebook',” she explained. “So, I searched my own name and he's the only one that came up. And actually, in the picture, he didn't have his shirt on, and I'm like, ‘oh, he's cute!'” And the Kelly in Texas was also intrigued. “She started off, ‘Hey, I see we have the same name, and I thought it was kinda cool, so I wanted to say hi, I guess'. Lots of laughs,” he said… Eight months after that innocent Facebook message, Kelly proposed to Kelly, and pretty soon they'll become Kelly Hildebrandt squared.

There're small kids, and primary kids.. everyday!! every morning sitting outside our house for no reason, no idea wat dey wanna do... den every afternoon, AGAIN!! appeared around our house.. knocking de door nonstop; shouting and yelling when we don answer them.. throw rocks around our house... n when it reaches de evening, dey'll be throwing eggs around de house.. not only de front, BUT, also de back of de house... it stinks, okay???

five of us couldnt stand it anymore.. and we phoned de police... dey came about 2 hours later, n we told them everything!! now, too bad we dunno where de kids stay, if not, de policeman will be able to do something... hai~ hope this problem can be solve as soon as possible... stupid kids... so mad with them......

some ppl have finished their exams!! so jealous of them... lucky them... can have holiday d... cant wait for my exams to finish too!! but, not ready yet, not prepared yet... wish i've got more time to prepare for them.. hope I can pass ALL my papers this semester, eventhough i chose de subjects with HIGH failure rate.. hope i do well.. wish me luck!! i wish myself luck too.. =)

holiday three months!! wat can I do?? three months seems so long for me now.. but i know by de time it reaches CNY, i'll be thinking y is de three months so short.. btw, Chinese New Year falls during Valentine's Day nextyear... cool right?? LOL... next semester starts 1st March.. no idea wat subjects to take yet...

might not be able to blog for de next three weeks.. as exams are coming up... really have to focus d.. i've been releasing stress by playing bejeweled all de time... hahaha... wish everyone here GOODLUCK for their exams!!! ^^

4 years have passed since we started being together. As time slowly passes by, I saw you, my darling, changed for the better for me, and I thank you for that from the bottom of my heart.

I wouldn't write into so much details about what happened over the 4 years as I think it'll be better for it to remain as a memory for both of us.

sorry for de late updates!! as I was busy all de time, and no time for blogging.. we had our semester break for 2 weeks and uni is starting again today!! sleepy... plus, lotzz of work not done yet.. on 27th october, was our 'Malaysia Festival' held in Sydney, got to see many malaysians overthere, but not sure where are they from actually.. FINALLY!! i get to see 100plus!!!! OMG, missed it so much!!! den only I know, 100plus can only be found in Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore!! tat's wat i saw from de label.. and is only AUD1 per can.. super cheap.. kinda regret din buy one whole box back..

during the first day, we rented 3 cars, and guess wat?? de next morning, one of the car's number plates are missing!! not only one side, BUT both sides!! OMG... we were all so worried anything's gonna happen.. but luckily it didnt affect our trip.. we went to VictorHarbour, Hahndorf (famous for its town n german sausages), BarossaValley (biggest vineyard i've ever seen besides HunterValley), AdelaideHills, Glenelg (famous beach + fish n chips), Adelaide Botanic Gardens (lose to Sydney Botanic Gardens, haha), HarbourTown (shopping shopping and shopping), Rundle Mall (famous shopping area too), and lotzz more.. not forgetting University of Adelaide (visited de so called HarryPotter library??) as well as UNISA (University of South Australia).. surprise to see both unis juz next to each other.. LOL.. hmm.. and celebrated MoonCake Festival at Elders Park.. celebrated WeiXue's birthday on de day itself by his first surprise from us (me, WeiRen, WenQin, JyeYee).. weixue wore the shirt bought by me n weiren!! nice nice?? LOL.... and at night, we had bbq at Village..

first week of uni, and i've got tones of work to do.. slept at 4am this morning as IRHR1001 assignment is due.. tomolo ACFI1002 and ACFI2005 test... wednesday ECON1002 assignment due.. thursday ACFI1002 assignment due.. OMG!!! so much to do!!! cries...... sniff sniff... end of year exam starts 10th November.. and my paper is ending on 24th November.. so long.. SAD, while de rest finish earlier... havent plan schedule for the three months break... anyone has any plan yet??

will blog when i've de time.. sleepy... gonna get ready for my first class now.. den after lecture, going to airport to fetch our dear Vivian back!! =D

lalalalala... after so many days, i'm back here again... lotz of things happening here, n lotz of events happening.. but I din have de time to blog about it.. most of de big events pictures can be found on my facebook.. de rest r juz small events, nothing much happen.. today, our uni celebrated 'Cultural Awakening Week 2009' at Bar on the Hill.. There're performances, as well as free food from many countries.. such as Malaysia, Singapore, France, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Indonesia, Taiwan, China, South America, Australia, Korea.. weird din see any from Japan.. LOL... was hoping to see sushi around.. and and, NONE from brunei!!! hahahaha... brunei should have one stall as well.. =)

All the years seem to just pass so quickly and it's alredy been more than 3years we've been together. We've gone through so many things; the joy and laughter, the pain and heartache. But you're always behind me and I thank you for that. Since this post ain't an anniversary thing so just wanna wish that you'll enjoy your day. Sorry that all these time didn't really get so celebrate properly with you.
