Pharmacists are supposed to be professionals right?
But they're just humans who wanna have a little harmless fun once in awhile,
So a group of students organized a little pub crawl where we had to ride a great double decker bus ( there were 3 in total, so you imagine how MANY of us went) and went from 1 pub to another, 5 in total. A few of our lecturers came along as well. Everyone was supposed to be dressed in golf attire to follow the theme.

It's the time where you see girls wearing skirts/shorts eventhough the temperature was half of Genting.

Huge bus with lotsa people bound to get drunk in the end.

This was the plan,
you head to a place and drink the drinks stated to score more points, all in the aim to get wasted. :P

All the different hair colours and skin tones mixing together to have a great time.

Just imagine being in a bus with happy-hyper ang mohs singing away songs that you never knew?

Pirated CD/DVD in Malaysia

Already started since last month.

To all those CDs lover pls beware!

Pleasedo notkeep any pirated or burned CDs, DVDs, or VCDs in your car.

Police and Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs Ministry's enforcement division in Malaysia have started the operation to search and fine anyone who keep pirated disc inside their car especially through road block at all main road and expressways.

If any pirated or burned disc found inside your car will be charged RM400 per disc. Example 30 discs found means the fine will be RM12,000.

This is real. Another friend of mine from Seagate, today during lunch time, 5 CD x RM400 = RM2,000

One of the Plexus colleague brother-in-law caught by Police due to pirated CD in the car on the way to town for lunch with his friend in the afternoon. One CD fined RM400.

Please disseminate this to all your friends who are driving in Malaysia .

Even though I can only meet her for awhile and won't be able to meet her again till a year later, but it was worth the few hours :D

Acidic Blood is a BIG no no

I recently came across an email regarding the danger that acidic blood poses towards our health and how it increases the risk of cancer. Therefore I have summarized the points which I find important and listed them below:

Blood of a healthy individual is weakly alkaline in nature, with a pH of about 7.35 to 7.45.
On the other hand, babies' blood are weakly acidic.
As adults mature their blood becomes more acidic in nature, this is especially due to their dietary intake. According to a study of 600 cancer patients' bodily fluid, it was found that 85% of the patients are acidic .

Therefore, maintaining the weakly acidic nature of our body is the first step for moving far away from diseases.

Acidic physical conditions manifest itself in (sign and symptoms):
1. Skin without lustre
2. Athlete's foot
3. Feeling tired even with very little exercise, and feeling sleepy the moment one gets on to public buses
4. Easily out of breath climbing up and down stairs
5. Fat with lower stomach protruding
6. Slow movement with feelings of lethargy

Why does the body physical condition turn acidic?
1. Excessive intake of dairy acidic food
a) meat, dairy products, eggs, beef, ham, etc are acidic food
b) taking too much acidic food will cause the blood to become acidic and viscous, making it difficult to flow to the end of blood vessels, leading to cold feet or knee, stiff shoulders and insomnia.
c) When one is young and strong, taking suitable quantity of meat is appropriate, but it is more suitable for older people to have a diet which consists primarily of vegetables or small fish.

2. Irregularity in the pace of life will cause the body physical condition to become acidic
a) Irregular pace in life will lead to mental and physical stress
b) According to statistics, people who sleep late are more likely to have cancer than normal persons, by as much as 5 times. (oh no! Time for me to sleep early!)
c) Human beings originally lead a life with regular tempo in this world, it is not possible to store up sleep or food and not possible to change the order of living by mixing up days and nights.
d) Human organs are controlled by the autonomic nerves, and during day time it is mainly sympathetic nerves activities, and at night it is mainly the parasympathetic nerves which are functioning, If this order is disturbed and reversed, then diseases will result.

3. Emotionally tensed
a) Civilised society brings stress
b) In the form of job related or mental stresses
c) A person suffering from mental stress, when the stress is removed and the person relaxes, sometimes this may lead to death, referred to as the syndrome of imperfect adrenal cortex function. (scary leh)

4. Physical Stress
a) Before any operation it would be necessary to check to see if the renal cortex does function normally. If the adrenal cortex is lacking, or if the stress imposed by the operation exceeded the ability of adrenal cortex to cope, it could lead to death or other undesirable impacts.
b) If it noted that patient's face is puffy, it would be necessary to inquire in detail the patient's medical history and medication status, for patients taking adrenal cortical hormone, extra care should be exercise when administering acupuncture.
c) Stress due to physical labour or exercise in excess, whole night card games, driving etc should be avoided as much as possible

So, after reading the above, you must be wondering... so which food is acidic/alkaline. Well, here is a list of some of them:
1. Strongly acidic food:
egg yolk, cheese, cake make with white sugar or persimmon, mullet fish roe, dried cod

2. Mildly acidic food:
ham, bacon, chicken meat, squid, pork, eel, beef, bread, wheat, butter, horse meat etc

3. Weakly acidic food:
white rice, peanut, beer, alcohol, oil fried tofu, sea weed, clam, octopus, catfish

4. Weakly alkaline food:
red bean, radish, apple, cabbage, onion, tofu etc.

5. Mildly alkaline food: dried radish, soya bean, carrot, tomato, banana, orange, pumpkin strawberry, egg white, dried plum, lemon, spinach, etc

6. Strongly alkaline food:
grape, tea leaves, grape wine, kelp sprout, kelp, etc. Especially natural green algae which contains rich quantity of chlorophyll. Therefore, they are considered very good alkaline health food, but tea should not be drunk in excess, and best to drink in the morning

So stay anti-acidic and try to maintain your neutral body pH :)

What's new

What's changed

I heard n saw this kind of birthday candles before, but never buy it n tried on it yet... lol...

u can easily find it in any shop I suppose, as it's been so common now for ppl buying this type of relighting candles.. I bought one pack lastyear, during Jess's birthday, but tat's the singing candle.. once u light the candle, 'birthday song' will start to sing by itself... cool right?? so many news things coming out now.. I wonder wat's gonna be de next new type of candles to be tried on..

Touching Piano Story

This is a true story and it will give you the chills. This is a beautiful and touching story of love and perseverance. Well worth the read. So do spare a few minutes for it. Thank you.

At the prodding of my friends I am writing this story. My name is Mildred Honor and I am a former elementary school music teacher from Des Moines, Iowa. I have always supplemented my income by teaching piano lessons - something I have done for over 30 years. During those years I found that children have many levels of musical ability,and even though I have never had the pleasure of having a prodigy, I have taught some very talented students.
However, I have also had my share of what I call 'musically challenged' pupils - one such pupil being Robby. Robby was 11 years old when his mother (a single mom) dropped him off for his first piano lesson. I prefer that students (especially boys) begin at an earlier age, which I explained to Robby. But Robby said that it had always been his mother's dream to hear him play the piano, so I took him as a student.Well, Robby began his piano lessons and from the beginning I thought it was a hopeless endeavour. As much as Robby tried, he lacked the sense of tone and basic rhythm needed to excel. But he dutifully reviewed his scales and some elementary piano pieces that I require all mystudents to learn. Over the months he tried and tried while I listened and cringed and tried to encourage him. At the end of each weekly lesson he would always say 'My mom's going to hear me play someday'. But to me, it seemed hopeless, he just did not have any inborn ability.

I only knew his mother from a distance as she dropped Robby off or waited in her aged car to pick him up. She always waved and smiled, but never dropped in.Then one day Robby stopped coming for his lessons..
I thought about calling him, but assumed that because of his lack of ability he had decided to pursue something else. I was also glad that he had stopped coming - he was a bad avertisement for my teaching!

Several weeks later I mailed a flyer recital to the students' homes.To my surprise, Robby (who had received a flyer) asked me if he could be in the recital. I told him that the recital was for current pupils and that because he had dropped out, he really did not qualify. He told me that his mother had been sick and unable to take him to his piano lessons, but that he had been practicing.'Please Miss Honor, I've just got to play' he insisted. I don't know what led me to allow him to play in the recital - perhaps it was his insistence or maybe something inside of me saying that it would be all right.

The night of the recital came and the high school gymnasium was packed with parents, relatives and friends. I put Robby last in the program, just before I was to come up and thank all the students and play a finishing piece. I thought that any damage he might do would come at the end of the program and I could always salvage his poor performance through my 'curtain closer'.

Well, the recital went off without a hitch, the students had been practicing and it showed. Then Robby came up on the stage. His clothes were wrinkled and his hair looked as though he had run an egg beater through it. 'Why wasn't he dressed up like the other students?' I thought. 'Why didn't his mother at least make him comb his hair for this special night?' Robby pulled out the piano bench, and I was surprised when he announced that he had chosen to play Mozart's Concerto No. 21 in C Major. I was not prepared for what I heard next. His fingers were light on the keys, they even danced nimbly on the ivories. He went from pianissimo to fortissimo, from allegro to virtuoso; his suspended chords that Mozart demands were magnificent! Never had I heard Mozart played so well by anyone his age.After six and a half minutes he ended in a grand crescendo, and everyone was on their feet in wild applause! Overcome and in tears, I ran up on stage and put my arms around Robby in joy. 'I have never heard you play like that Robby, how did you do it?' Through the microphone Robby explained: 'Well, Miss Honor .... remember I told you that my mom was sick? Well, she actually had cancer and passed away this morning. And well ..... she was born deaf, so tonight was the first time she had ever heard me play, and I wanted to make it special.'

There wasn't a dry eye in the house that evening. As the people from Social Services led Robby from the stage to be placed in to foster care, I noticed that even their eyes were red and puffy. I thought to myself then how much richer my life had been for taking Robby as my pupil. No, I have never had a prodigy, but that night I became a prodigy .... of Robby. He was the teacher and I was the pupil, for he had taught me the meaning of perseverance and love and believing in yourself, and may be even taking a chance on someone and you didn't know why.

This story really touched me and I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I do. Photos are googled.

Six of us, went to this newly open Vietnames Restaurant lastnight.. there're SO MANY ppl dining in.. we went in, some of us n de waitor/waitress are friends, n dey helped us to find place to sit for dinner..

cold cold cold cold cold.. we were told tat the heater is spoiled.. so dey helped us to move indoor for our dinner.. we waited, n waited, n waited... for almost ONE hour, till our entree came out... n we chat chat chat till our food came... everyone starting talking about 'business'.. coz dey're too many customers, almost every tables haven't got any food on it yet.. n more n more customers are coming in for dining.. I guess they couldnt afford to serve everyone, therefore, some customers who came in were asked to leave the restaurant.. there're too many things for everyone to do, n we couldnt wait for our tea to come.. we even brought de teapot to de bar n requested them to refill hot water for us..

Finally, our food came.....

1st entree - Spring Rolls (Traditional Vietnamese spring rolls)
2nd entree - Stuffed Chicken Wings (Boneless chicken wings stuffed with pork mince)

anyways, studied again, for the WHOLE DAY today at the uni... accounting FUN FUN FUN, but quite troublesome when u've no idea where de amount come from.. luckily there's friends around, to help each other with accounting.. hehe, love love love my friends.... studied till evening time n we went out for dinner together, at one of this new opened Traditional Vietnamese Cuisine 'VietKing'... after dinner went to fetch Vivian back... Welcome Back!! LOL...

Joel, Kelvin, Arvin

Kelvin Soo Chu Khien from Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah, and two students from Meragang Sixth Form Centre - Ong Kai Yi and Joel Kester Newas - will be leaving for Kuala Lumpur on June 28 to represent the country at the Regional Young Entrepreneur Awards (YEA).

The trio were crowned as the 'Gold Award winners' of the 4th HSBC YEA after they proposed to market a product called "Chlorogel" that can help reduce air pollution.

"Chlorogel" is a solid silica block of highly porous structures immobilised with plant cells to convert carbon dioxide into oxygen and energy through the use of modified solar panels.

In Kuala Lumpur, the Brunei students will be vying for the 'Best of the Best Award' as they go up against other top students from Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the Philippines.

The winning team will receive an HSBC business development fund to the tune of HK$100,000.

"We are working hard to prepare for the big day in Kuala Lumpur. Fortunately, we have had the support of so many people and organisations for our project, including the assistance from HSBC Brunei," said Kelvin, the team's 'marketing' brains.

Their victory in the HSBC Brunei YEA was made possible with the support of lecturers and officers from various organisations.

"We would like to thank Prashanth, team leader of last year's Brunei gold-winning team More Than Simple Inc for his superb mentoring, Team Green, last year's silver-winning team for their advice and support, Nabil Asyrafi, benefactor for KLH, Mdm Ting Mee Leh, Chemistry teacher from Meragang Sixth Form Centre for providing the idea of aerogel for Chlorogel, and Mdm Bogusia Mischke and Dr Leigh Canton of the Laksamana Business of College for their business counselling," said Kelvin.

Universiti Brunei Darussalam's Assistant Vice Chancellor, Dr Zohrah Hj Sulaiman and the Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr Tan Kha Sheng, also assisted them by approving research and prototype development of Chlorogel in UBD where Associate Professor of Physics Department, Dr Peter Hing, Chemistry Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer, Dr Jose Santos, Junior Lecturer of Biology Department, Mr Hussein, coached the trio as well as provided scientific counselling, and staff technicians of UBD's Faculty of Science who provided assistance.

"KLH R&D Team also helped us out a lot with their research efforts, while Tiong Ho from HSBC mentored Team KLH, Inc. HSBC gave us the opportunity to participate in this competition, and we thank them for that," added Kelvin, "and of course our friends, colleagues and comrades for their invaluable input and suggestions.

"We have known each other since our pre-secondary six in St Andrew's School, and we had already come up with lots of business ideas since then," explained Joel.

"For the YEA, we brainstormed amongst ourselves and friends, and we are very grateful to Mdm Ting Mee Leh for helping us find a viable business idea," added Kelvin.

Ong Kai Yi on the other hand, is the scientist of the team, keeping to himself while Joel and Kelvin excitedly bombarded the Bulletin with lots of their stories from the beginning of their journey until today.

"Realising the big competition that we will face in Kuala Lumpur, preparations have never ceased, and we will be giving our best to sell our business idea to the judges by thoroughly practising working on our presentation," said Kelvin.

So far the trio haven't successfully developed a working prototype due to the limitations that they are facing, as Kelvin said, "we are limited equipment and technology-wise as we don't have full access to all the equipment needed to produce a prototype".

They hope to be able to bring home the winning trophy and help Brunei's economy with their victory, as they were quoted as "the best entry since YEA was held in Brunei in 2008".

The World Cup has come again!!! I bet everyone's excited for it now, yes?? no?? This worldcup is the 19th FIFA World Cup, the premier international football tournament.. scheduled to take place between 11 June and 11 July 2010... [WOW, one month!! plus, exam period, LOL..] n this time, it's held at South Africa..

This will be the first time that the tournament has been hosted by an African nation, after South Africa defeated Morocco and Egypt in an all-African bidding process. This decision left the Oceania Football Confederation as the only confederation yet to host the FIFA World Cup. Italy are the defending champions, after winning the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. The draw for the finals took place on 4 December 2009 in Cape Town.

When things suddenly feel wrong, the most possible thing that happened is a misunderstanding. [which I agree to it].. When misunderstandings happen, either both parties keep quiet and assume each other knows what they are thinking, or they talk it out n clear the doubt. Why cant ppl try to find out the truth or ask before they simply accuse ppl? 'Misunderstanding' is a really BIG word, which A LOT of ppl don understand the meaning to it..

had been stress studying for this exams... everyday...... since it's 2nd year, no play play... muz work hard!!! but I'm still stuck studying the same subject since 2 days ago.. hahaha... hope I'll be able to finish them by tomolo and go ahead on the next subject... kinda worried tat I wont have enough time to study for ALL 4 subjects... love the library these days... where there're no computers around u, only BIG blank tables.... I've been sitting there for de WHOLE DAY since few days ago... good good, n it's de 1st time i borrow books from de library and guess wat?? after I scanned my books, I looked at my receipt n it states that I can borrow the book for '2weeks'!!! y so long? i also don know, juz hope tat I'll remember to return the books back to de libary, before dey fine me..

anyways, we decided to tapao 'KungFu Noodles' for dinner after we left library but last minute, we changed to 'Bamboo Palace'.. we ordered too much!!!! stomach explode.... LOL.....

last Saturday, WeiRen and I attended Vishnu's surprised birthday party at Mok's place.. we went to fetch Kenneth from forum and thought we're de latest as Taheer asked everyone to reach there before 6.30pm.. we rushed there n found out tat we're de earliest!! yay... we chatted, and waited for Vishnu to come over to teach one of them how to cook some stuffs.. Vishnu was shown the video of de recipe during the first few minutes, followed by susprised videos by everyone who made for him, den followed by the rest of us suddenly appearing one by one wishing him 'Happy Birthday!!'... guess he's shocked at tat time.. I never had this kind of experience before, LOL... so I dunno how to react...

Do not be upset over what has happened, it isn't worth your time and energy. Just keep your chins up high since you yourself know that you would never do such a thing as that. I know it isn't easy to ignore such a huge problematic situation but just remember that you got your bf, family and friends like us back here who believe you and will support you. The day will come when the truth will be revealed and we will all know who is the culprit behind this huge drama and misunderstanding. You know you're a shopaholic when you are still out shopping even when you are sick and down with the flu (and no its not H1N1). Keep insisting that I was fine so that the bf will bring me out, on 1 condition, that I gotta rest first -.- So my shopping time was cut short. But who's to complain when they still get to go out right?

So we both headed to Midvalley, me with my jacket as if its autumn -.- There was a KitKat promotion and a vending maching where you can get a bar of KitKat for 20cents :) Loads of people queue up for it so I couldn't resist and 'kaypoh' tag along.20cents, worth?

Was hungry after awhile so stopped by Secret Recipe to have tea/early dinner.
We ordered caramel cheesecake.

finally.... the day has came, after 2 weeks.... all of us, committee had been waiting for this nasilemak day for a long long time.... firstly, we aimed for 100ppl, but soon, we saw de number of ppl attending on facebook increases, so we aimed for 120ppl for this event... ended up, we had more den 150ppl attending de food... LUCKILY, de food was enough for everyone, though de 'telur' and 'timun' ran out of stock.. everything went well... and we're satisfied for it...

besides MYSUN committee, i would like to thank WeiRen, Vivian, Serene, Yvonne, Adrian n some others too..... for helping mysun committee with everything, making this event a success event.. not forgetting the band, the performances... MYSUN has the BEST SINGER & BEST BAND... THANKYOU!!! ♥

finally... completed one of my major assignment... one more to go... n is de really really WORST one.... it's gonna cover 40% of my overall marks... OMG!!!!! really dunno how to do.. dunno how to start... OMG OMG OMG!!!! who can help me!!!!!!!! ='( ='(

after both major assignments are handed in this Friday, I've got another two major assignments to rush again for the following Friday.... luckily between both fridays, there's one event organized by MYSUN... FOODLICIOUS DAY!!!! wat's so special about this event?? there's NASI LEMAK to eat!!! as well as TEH TARIK!!! omg..... when was the last time i eat them?? long long long long time ago... or if u wanna eat, u'll have to travel ALL THE WAY down to sydney... but now, there's nasi lemak to eat in Newcastle!!! it's gonna be the BEST IN NEWCASTLE i suppose, since, there's way we can eat nasi lemak around in newcastle... cant wait for the event!!!

FINALLY!!!! managed to book my flight ticket back home... though i'm only going back for 3 weeks... at least!! i'm going back there.... miss my daddy, mummy n dearest meimei... also the cars... my house, my lovely bedroom with lovely bed... =P

don wanna mention about my exams.. hai~ stupid timetable... i still remember finishing my exam less den 2 weeks time back last year... but now!! our exam schedules are from 7th june till 25th june... AND guess wat?? my last day of exam is 24th june... O..M..G... same goes to WeiRen... Vivian too, her exam till 25th... SO SO UNFAIR!!!! =( =( =(

i'll be having 2 exams in a week.. 2 open book, 2 closed book... i never did open book exam before.. anyone did before n can teach me how to study for open book or how to prepare for open book exam???

2. Feeling tired in the afternoon, put down the caffeinated soda and pick up a cucumber. Cucumbers are a good source of B Vitamins and Carbohydrates that can provide that quick pick-me-up that can last for hours.

me, WeiRen, Vivian, and AhFoo went down to sydney on 23rd April, to surprise Judy... while otw down, we contacted KokChin but end up, Judy went out and we're not sure wat time only she'll be at home.. SAD!!! we planned to surprised the birthday girl, but end up, our plan fail!! we managed to meet Kristmin and his gf at Chinatown a while, we bought some food, n went to DarlingHarbour and eat while waiting for the time to pass... we bought a cake and a gift for the birthday girl and drove back to newcastle... ♥

MYSUN Sandboarding

latest event so far.. MYSUN's Sandboarding... it's the first time MYSUN organized this sandboarding event at Anna Bay, Port Stephen, it's about 40minutes drive from our university.. at first, we planned to go there by bus.. but end up, becoz of pricing, we ended up going there by our own cars.. there're 7 cars together and we went there together for this sandboarding event... there're 32 of us altogether, we never expected this many ppl to join... a lot of new faces, a lot of new friends, a lot of first-timers.. including me!!.. LOL... thanks to the lovely weather!!! not much sun... at first, i'm so worried tat i'm gonna get sunburn.. luckily NOT... Whee~

after sandboarding was dismissed... us, two cars, with me, WeiRen, ShinLin, SeinHon, Andy, Angela, Simon, WeiXiang, ChoonLian went to explore more on Port Stephen on our own... first, we went to Holbart Oyster Farm for fresh oysters and prawns.. our so called 'entree'.. after tat, the 9 of us went to Nelson Bay Town Centre and had our lunch at one noodle shop.. it's only $10 per meal... cheap cheap!! but oily...... after our 'main', we went to 'dessert'!! ICECREAM!!! whee~ went back newcastle after tat... as everyone was very very tired after sandboarding...

MYSUN was FIRST invited along to join the Sports Carnival 2010 at Sydney, sports competition which consists of Netball, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Tennis and Soccer versus:

basically, I didnt join any events down there... I juz followed the rest down, go support them and see see... haha... WeiRen n Vivian din go down... only me alone, together with the rest of them.. there're about 70 ppl who went down together for the competition, players together with the supporters.. we booked a bus down.. and gathered at maths bus stop at 5am and left for sydney.. Vishnu arranged our place to stay at Sydney Central Backpackers.. we left for newcastle as soon as de competition finishes..

wanlu's back!!! after a LONG LONG time... I apologize for tat.... had been busying with stuffs every week till no time to blog... assignments and quizes especially... finally, I completed ALL my mid-term assessment quizes... but i've still got three BIG MORE assessment task to be completed soon... hai~ some of them are juz too complicated for me to start on it... hope someone can help with with my assignments... anywayz, back in quite some time...

WeiRen and I booked our flight tickets to Hobart, Tasmania for few days to find Adeleen, not forgetting to explore the places around it.. but before we departed to Tasmania, we stayed at Sydney for one night.. so WeiRen n I went to Sydney Royal Easter Show... Sydney Olympic Park is juz TOO BIG till we cant actually find LiTee inside the show.. so sadly, we couldnt meet up during easter show but we managed to meet up few hours before our flight to Tasmania..

countdown: one day, two days... den EASTER HOLIDAY!!! cant wait for easter... i finished class on thursday... going down to Sydney on Friday to meet LiTee, den Saturday going to fly to Tasmania, Hobart to find Adeleen and play for few days before de Easter break ends.. anyways, will blog more for easter when time comes... for de time being, will juz update myself for wat's happening these days tat i havent blog about..

12th March - Sydney 1 day trip

purpose of going down? juz to eat eat n eat at 'Tang Ren Jie'.. as they only have them every friday evening.. Vivian wanted to go down, coz de previous week, she couldnt get to eat them.. after my lecture, we went down straight away, n met AhFoo and Calvin lastminute n they followed us down... not forgetting tat we invited Judy out too for joining us... we eat, n eat, n eat nonstop.. LOL... we went back during midnight, everyone in de car sang... inside the car juz like karaoke, everyone singing for 2hours in de car while otw home and to keep WeiRen awake for driving during late night..

18th March - Harmony Day

wat's special on this day? actually i'm not so sure about it also.. all i know is, some religions will come n promote, advertise their culture and stuffs.. but there's only a few stalls available, one stall from NUSA, one from chinese and one from de muslims.. Kristmin n I waited n waited for de food to come, but at last, we're too lazy to wait till we go buy Pasta from BarOnTheHill... after lunch, Vivian came later n we both decided to test on the malay costumes n take pic... hahaha... look funny right?? ohya, not forgetting, the muslims stalls also write ur name in Jawi... i miss Jawi class.. LOL...

20th March - Badminton Club Pizza Night

a usual day for badminton club... juz tat this day, badminton club had free pizzas for their members.. and tat's the first group photos taken by badminton club members this year.. thanks to the committee members... =)

24th March - Vivian's 20th Birthday

a special day for this semester.. I skipped my second half of lecture, WeiRen skipped his lecture, and I couldnt attend MYSUN's first meeting, coz of this special special day.. Happy Birthday to Vivian!!! we both were so excited for the time to come.. when the clock strikes 12AM, weiren n I went to Vivian's room n knocked on de door till she came out.. SURPRISE!!!! lol, and everything seems back to normal.. but the birthday girl doesnt know tat's only a small surprise for her... it was also our Uni's Noodles Day on the day itself, n we had free noodles to eat.. i din expect it to be Woolworths cup noodles... hahaha... weiren got one for me n vivian.. n after my law quiz, i went out and got back home to prepare while weiren fetch some of them to Diggers.. Asian KTV Night - 26th March

it's the first KTV night I attend in newcastle... any songs u wanna sing, juz write it down, and they will search for the song for u with the mike.... there's also bbq available.. and it's organized by SAUN and the Taiwanese association.. location at BarOnTheHill... it's de first time I went there at night, WeiRen has his chance to order beer to drink.. LOL... and Angela n I ordered something Lime something juice thing.. i forgot the name... and and, the drinks n food at BarOnTheHill is very very cheap compared to outside..

Newcastle Show - 27th March

it's the last event so far i've got here.. Newcastle Show, it's the MINI sydney royal easter show... it's almost the same, juz tat it's much much smaller den de ones in Sydney.. we went to Charlestown for shopping in the noon time den went to Broadmeadow showground for the show later on.. n we were there till the fireworks before we headed home... at 8.30pm, we were expecting them to turn off ALL de lights... as it's Earth Hour.. but who knows... everything's still back to normal... i never attend any earth hour before, i wonder how does it feels like..

I will back on Manchester United to win this game. Liverpool have a poor defence this season and with a good scoring form that Manchester forward Rooney have, I think it will be an easy scoring game for Rooney. Rio Ferdinand have back for a few games and is pairing with Vidic in the central defender. My prediction for this game is Manchester United will be win by 2-1 with Manchester United Rooney and Vidic score while Liverpool will be score by Torres.

cleaning carpet

after staying at this house for a year... we cleaned the carpet... and in order to leave the room, we have to clean our carpets... not vacuum-ing them by our own... BUT, we have to phoned someone to come to our place and clean the carpet... how does he clean de carpet?? he came around 1.45pm this afternoon and started preparing everything he needs and started to clean the carpet slowly... we cleaned Vivian's room, my room and WeiRen's room as well as the common area we have upstairs and the staircase... everything's with carpet... mafan....

before he started cleaning, he even asked me if he could play his radio while cleaning.. hehe.. his radio was those kind of traditional radio tat u couldnt find these days around... it's so cool looking at it... haha... and happy for him as the traditional radio still works till now... he told me he brought them everywhere he goes... cool right??

first, he sprayed the detergents on the carpets... den starts to steam vacuum to n for the carpets and as soon as he's done steaming, he sprays some fresh mint perfume thingy.. it took him more den 1 1/2 hr to clean everything.. and everything seems very clean now... den i asked him if it's better for us to wear slippers/sandals around the carpet or bare foot.... he told me it's better to wear... i asked him y and he said if bare foot we'll have body oil and it's not good for the carpet... i don understand, juz smile at him.. LOL...

the bill costed us AUD200... which is equivalent to almost RM600..... scary......

week 2 uni

week 1 of uni has gone juz like tat... OMG... 1st year of uni is gone.. 1st week of this uni is gone.. meaning exams are coming very very soon.. n i'm gonna complete my degree soon... time flies... very very fast...

anyways, let's see wat i've done during my first week of uni... had been busy cleaning up the whole house, especially my room.. currently, there's only 3 of us left in de house.. the other 2 juz left.. and currently, there's room available for lease at our house... I wonder when will de 2 new tenants move in and who will dey be... anyone interested?? hahaha..

last Thursday after my class.. WeiRen brought me to Grater Union Cinema at Glendale for Avatar 3D.. believe or not?? after so long, only i get to watch the movie.. when I tell ppl I havent watch the show, they'll be shocked, surprised or even scold me.. asking y i havent watch the show, telling me how nice the show is, everyone telling me tat Avatar is a 'must watch' movie..

us, in 3D glasses before watching 3D.. the show was not bad... nice nice... in love with the graphics and backgrounds with the colours in the show.. =)

and this is my textbooks for this semester... believe or not?? all these THICK BOOKS, i'm only using them for 3months+, den, it's time to leave those books away and buy new sets of books for the next semester... guess i've spent almost AUD1,000 juz to buy this semester's textbooks... hai~ which is almost equivalent to my tuition fees for one subject in the semester... =(

yesterday went to Forum to play badminton... after so long, finally get to play again with aussie friends... met some new friends at the forum.. =)

uni week1

currently in uni's library using the computer... first week of uni, so far so good. No tutorials, very relaxing.. BUT, i've lectures every monday, wednesday and thursday from 5-7pm.. omg, cant believe myself having lectures for de first time in de evening!! for 3days somemore... hai~

it's 10am in de morning, n i'm in uni, gonna wait till 5pm for my class.. wonder wat am i going to do for de whole day!! had been playing 'Bejeweled' for an hour... still trying to achieve my target which i havent reach yet.. i muz stop playing bejeweled!! crap, bejeweled spent MOST of my time during university lastyear... MUST MUST MUST MUST reduce!!! pls remind me!! in case i forget about it..

finally finish cleaning n clearing up my room... as well as the kitchen... i wonder who's gonna be moving into our house... yesterday was our inspection for one room... and and and!! Shhhh, shouldnt say.. LOL... saw some kind of ppl we don wish to see... hahahaha.... gonna stop right here, as gonna help WeiRen to borrow some books from de library... i've never borrow books from de library before... hope i can search for de books tat i need.. =)

End of semester is coming in 2 weeks time. I've only started studying a few days and already felt all the energy and motivation drained from me. It's like I lost the will and strength to continue studying for the next 2 weeks and THIS IS BAD. I'm starting to wave the white flag up in the air in surrender.

So, what do to?!? HELP ME!!! I've gotta get fear instilled in me to push me to study. gah~

time to go back to aussie for our second year... WeiRen reached singapore 3hours before me n waited for me at the airport.. den we went out to singapore for a while before transitting back to Sydney.. we saw this cute little restaurant 'Lulu Restaurant'.. so we went in and have a look... i saw a special dish on de menu!! their 'Lulu Fried Rice'... so we ordered it... and it came in a love shape... how cool it is!! LOL.. =)

after lunch and shop, we went back to the airport, had some light meal at airport's swensens... den went in to de departure hall back to Sydney.. it took us about 7 hours to fly from Singapore to Sydney.. I took the menu in de plane, but i forget where I leave them.. only pictures to show.. ^^

WanLu's back!!! after few months.... sorry for not updating the blog... will be updating this so called 'dead blog' back to an 'active blog'... also with the help of my bestie 'WeeiFoong' ♥
I'm summarize things i did for the past three months on http://love4013.blogspot.com ... will blog more about the recent news overhere...

after 3months holiday, which means that my second year of university has juz begun.. gosh, time flies so fast.... cant believe i'm oledi in my second year, where most of my friends are still waiting for their first year... y do i go so far so fast?? still don believe in myself... anyways, went back to Singapore on 25th Feb (same flight with WenLi, Jarrod, JinShan, Steven & family and some other familiar faces, guess they're also going back to aussie for their studies) and met WeiRen at Changi International Airport.. we've no idea where to go, so juz simply press a place at the MRT.. we went to CityHall and walked a while, only we find out tat we've been there before, so we went to Bugis next and shop at a few shops inside.. we should have been to Bugis in de first place!! so we wont be wasting so much time, as Bugis really has LOTS to shop...

ohya... one thing i forget to mention.. we went to a restaurant called 'LULU RESTAURANT'... hahahaha.... cool right cool right?? and i ordered 'lulu fried rice'.. (will upload pictures soon).. we went back to the airport after shopping and sat at Swensens n eat something light before we headed into the departure hall and fly back to Sydney International Airport... i cant really sleep on de plane... and i realise tat i didnt sleep for 24hours... omg.... i think it's de very very first time i didnt sleep for such a long time... arrived in Sydney airport... and i saw de cute little puppy again!! running around smelling stuffs... hahaha... while WeiRen's waiting for de luggages... we queued up for a long long time to get our luggages scanned but de airport ppl let us leave juz like tat coz we declared tat we only bring biscuits n cereals back..

On the way to Penang Island

Kuok and I left the house early during evening around 6pm to have dinner outside and decided to walk around until it was time for our bus to Penang which was at 12.30am. YES, 12.30AM! So we went to Pavilion to look at the beautiful decorations and have dinner there at the same time.

The place was filled with giant, ornamented christmas trees and there was even lightings in the shape of reindeers and a sleigh! But the place was jam packed with people so didn't really get snap a nice piccie.

The middle hall was filled with people when we entered. However, being not 'busybody', we just walked off only to find out it was Jay Chou and co who were there to promote a new movie called Treasure Hunter (Ci Ling). More details about the movie here. Sigh~ We were in the same building as them but due to the fact that we are not kaypo we didn't even get to catch a glimpse of them :( Lesson learnt: Must be more kaypo in the future.

Now the centre is all empty :(

After having our dinner, we walked around aimlessly for hours till our legs ache then headed out to the streets towards Puduraya Bus Station.

As we got nearer to out destination, we decided to rest our poor feet and stopped at Papa Rich for awhile.

My all time favourite, warm honey lemon!We reached Pudu station around 12am. It was freaky to be walking around that part of the street late at night.Freaky for me, not him -.-. The bus left right on time at 12.30am which was pretty cool. Sadly, I didn't really get to sleep in the bus, wasn't used to the seats compared to my cozy bed. I keep looking the clock at the front of the bus pass by each hour.

Finally, we reached Penang Island at 5.30am. What a god-damn-early-hour to be awake. The rest of the story shall be revealed at my blog. Stay tuned for Penang Part I :)

Harry and Pepper are a pair of adorable male Magellan penguins at the San Francisco Zoo. The couple's relationship began in 2003, and they were together for the last 6 years. The two black-and-white birds paired off when outgoing Harry befriended Pepper, an introvert who sticks mostly to his burrow. At the time, the two were adolescents and everyone assumed they were just friends. But soon they were nesting together. Harry would gather grass and bring it home to Pepper, who would arrange it tidily in their burrow. Single females would come around, but both birds never seemed interested. They even adopted an egg together in 2008, as the pair was allowed to incubate and hatch an egg another penguin had laid. “Of all of the parents that year, they were the best,” Brown said. “They took very good care of their chick. Anna Haining Swan was born on August 06, 1846 at Mill Brook, Nova Scotia and weighed 18 pounds. juz updated my other blog.. http://love4013.blogspot.com.. have a look when u guys are free... after de cases.. today, there's this case again!!! this time, it happens to me... my house here den i rented... There're small kids, and primary kids.. everyday!! every morning sitting outside our house for no reason, no idea wat dey wanna do... den every afternoon, AGAIN!! appeared around our house.. knocking de door nonstop; shouting and yelling when we don answer them.. throw rocks around our house... n when it reaches de evening, dey'll be throwing eggs around de house.. not only de front, BUT, also de back of de house... it stinks, okay???

five of us couldnt stand it anymore.. and we phoned de police... dey came about 2 hours later, n we told them everything!! now, too bad we dunno where de kids stay, if not, de policeman will be able to do something... hai~ hope this problem can be solve as soon as possible... stupid kids... so mad with them......

some ppl have finished their exams!! so jealous of them... lucky them... can have holiday d... cant wait for my exams to finish too!! but, not ready yet, not prepared yet... wish i've got more time to prepare for them.. hope I can pass ALL my papers this semester, eventhough i chose de subjects with HIGH failure rate.. hope i do well.. wish me luck!! i wish myself luck too.. =)

holiday three months!! wat can I do?? three months seems so long for me now.. but i know by de time it reaches CNY, i'll be thinking y is de three months so short.. btw, Chinese New Year falls during Valentine's Day nextyear... cool right?? LOL... next semester starts 1st March.. no idea wat subjects to take yet...

might not be able to blog for de next three weeks.. as exams are coming up... really have to focus d.. i've been releasing stress by playing bejeweled all de time... hahaha... wish everyone here GOODLUCK for their exams!!! ^^

4 years and still going strong

I wouldn't write into so much details about what happened over the 4 years as I think it'll be better for it to remain as a memory for both of us.

hey everyone!!

sorry for de late updates!! as I was busy all de time, and no time for blogging.. we had our semester break for 2 weeks and uni is starting again today!! sleepy... plus, lotzz of work not done yet.. on 27th october, was our 'Malaysia Festival' held in Sydney, got to see many malaysians overthere, but not sure where are they from actually.. FINALLY!! i get to see 100plus!!!! OMG, missed it so much!!! den only I know, 100plus can only be found in Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore!! tat's wat i saw from de label.. and is only AUD1 per can.. super cheap.. kinda regret din buy one whole box back..

100plus!!! i still have one can in my fridge.. LOL...

spent one week in Adelaide later for vacation.. with Jasmine, Ryan and Norman.. was there for our dearly WeiXue's birthday!! not forgetting to mention meetings with SiewLeng, JyeYee, WenQin and SzeChing.. we traveled around many parts of Adelaide (besides Kangaroo Island i suppose)..

during the first day, we rented 3 cars, and guess wat?? de next morning, one of the car's number plates are missing!! not only one side, BUT both sides!! OMG... we were all so worried anything's gonna happen.. but luckily it didnt affect our trip.. we went to VictorHarbour, Hahndorf (famous for its town n german sausages), BarossaValley (biggest vineyard i've ever seen besides HunterValley), AdelaideHills, Glenelg (famous beach + fish n chips), Adelaide Botanic Gardens (lose to Sydney Botanic Gardens, haha), HarbourTown (shopping shopping and shopping), Rundle Mall (famous shopping area too), and lotzz more.. not forgetting University of Adelaide (visited de so called HarryPotter library??) as well as UNISA (University of South Australia).. surprise to see both unis juz next to each other.. LOL.. hmm.. and celebrated MoonCake Festival at Elders Park.. celebrated WeiXue's birthday on de day itself by his first surprise from us (me, WeiRen, WenQin, JyeYee).. weixue wore the shirt bought by me n weiren!! nice nice?? LOL.... and at night, we had bbq at Village..

OMG!!! so much to do!!! cries...... sniff sniff... end of year exam starts 10th November.. and my paper is ending on 24th November.. so long.. SAD, while de rest finish earlier... havent plan schedule for the three months break... anyone has any plan yet??

lalalalala... after so many days, i'm back here again... lotz of things happening here, n lotz of events happening.. but I din have de time to blog about it.. most of de big events pictures can be found on my facebook.. de rest r juz small events, nothing much happen.. today, our uni celebrated 'Cultural Awakening Week 2009' at Bar on the Hill.. Updates for the past 2 weeks.

Kuok is sick, I think I passed it to him since he looked after me last week, therefore I should like get the best award for Worst GF in the world. While that poor little thing has been treating me so well and doing all the cooking and cleaning, this is what he gets in return, pitiful soul. LOL

The whole of last week just seem to pass so quickly, with very little lessons going on.. Nothing much happen. Hence the lack of news updates.

Went out with Kelly last Monday to shoe-hunt at Midvalley. All around we walked;
You name it and we were there; Nike, Adidas, Sketchers, Puma, Reebok, Converse and the list goes on. We tried dresses too. :)
All the walking make us build up an apetite so took a break and headed to Secret Recipe. We wanted to pay and were waiting there for a super long time yet no one bothered. Lousy service, 1/10 from me pfft~ Think they even thought the customers from one table left, which so happened to be us standing right in front of them.
To digress,
Appetising isn't it, my chocolate walnut brownie.Then we walked again in search of the 'perfect' shoe. We even headed to the Gardens. Had dinner at Sushi Zanmai before heading home. Rm12.90, was worth it. Uber full just by one bowl.

2days later, went out for movie mania with Audrey and KahLian, the place we're going is... Midvalley again. Watched Taking of Pelham 123 and the 3D version of IceAge3. Both movies were not bad, but it's kinda not worth the money to watch the 3D. Oh well, we just went for it cause KahLian and I wanted to try the 3D. HAHA. Went to Sushi Zanmai again for lunch.
*huff puff* and so I tried the second unagi promotion below which costs rm8.90, not so filling but I love the soup.
In between the movies, I went to buy my shoes. Nike. Don't cha love it. Pink and purple really looks well together. hehe.We decided to have dinner at the food court there as we had to rush back in order to avoid jam at the station. I had shark fin with rice which looks more like soupy rice.Other than that, attended classes for the week.
Went for badminton tryouts, which turn out to be a bummer.
Helped Kelly to move her stuff to her new apartment.
Went to play badminton at some isolated-looking kinda place with KahLian, MayHwa and her gang. Altogether 15people using 3courts LOL. The place was like a sauna with no ventilation, but nice green carpeting. :D

had been back to newcastle for 2 weeks d.. let's see.. WeiRen n I reached Sydney on 24th July n our van came n fetch us to my far relative's place n we overnight there for a night.. had pizzahut for dinner at their place and my aunty actually cooked some vietnamese food for us to try.. it was delicious... she told us tat we cannot find any of them around sydney area as is home-made n de recipe is from Vietnam.. de next day, weiren went for AAMI driving course while i stayed at home playing Bejeweled whole day.. haha... after tat, we went to buy some groceries.. and went to Sydney Olympic Park to watch Disney On Ice.. OMG!!! mickey mouse!!!! lol, i know, wanlu is crazy over Disney... hahaha...

after checked out from hotel, we met Judy and Ivan outside our hotel and they brought us to another new place again.. LOL... after driving around in UNSW, we dropped judy back home, n drove back to our place.. den busy unpacking everything, n went to sleep earlier as we have class de next morning..

we had our ex-HSC gathering on 10th July 2009, Friday.. we first met at Inti College to meet some Inti lecturers and found out tat all de lecturers this year had a laptop each and dey teach students using laptops now, instead of transparency with projectors.. cool right?? haha.. after tat, went to WeiRen's house for a while for de table football match with WeiXue, HongLee and ShiongQi, den went to Gurney to meet some of them for lunch.. after lunch, went to watch IceAge3 and after tat, went to play pool for a while before meeting everyone else in RedBox for dinner at night.. =) de pictures will explains de rest.. not all pictures are posted up here, de rest of de pictures will be uploaded up onto facebook soon.. so, enjoy!! ^^

FINALLY!!! back from holiday... after five weeks.. been to quite a number of places actually during this holiday.. met Eileen in Singapore before transitting back to Brunei, played badminton three times in a week, met friends in Brunei, eat eat n eat all food tat i missed in Brunei.. LOL.. after one week, I went to KL with my dad to attend DWTT training.. had the course at the Mines Wonderland for three days, and den went to Hatyai, Thailand with my dad again for 2days den back to Penang for about one week.. met HSC lecturers back in Inti, except for MrGoh who's busy and also some friends before I go back to Brunei...

AND AND, one SAD thing.. my camera actually cant on some days... haizzz... heart break.. but my lovely daddy bought a new one for me few dayz later.. yay!! but, i still miss my old camera, de old 960IS camera, which is now being repaired becoz something inside de camera is burnt and it costed B$150+ to repair it.. after back to Brunei, went to Limbang, Lawas n KK to meet my grandma and cousins before I leave.. I renewed my malaysia IC but is still not ready, so I'll only be able to collect it when I go back next trip..

left Brunei on 23rd July, met WeiRen in Singapore and we sat MRT out to CityHall den to Bugis before we go back Changi Airport.. didnt get to meet Eileen this time as she had lessons, SAD.. nvm, next trip we'll try to meet up.. =) i'll juz stop here, as i'll let de pictures explains de rest n will explain more with de pictures.. ^^

The food provided that day was KFC, Domino's and fried noodles. Poor Kuok running around serving people till he didn't even grab a bite =(

The group pic taken was blurry so yeaps, not gonna show it. Did the natural thing of singing song, wishing and cutting cake but didn't know that we were attacked by the snow spray after that! XD but after the cake cutting, Kelly and I were fooled to pick candles out of the cake while getting my head smashed in by LiTee. She came from Penang halfway through the party trying to surprise me HAHA but I kinda expected what happen hehe. That explains Kuok's unexplained temporary departure. Then back to the topic on where I was cake faced. So I splat her with cake and it ended with a cake fight. The poor delicious pandan cake was gone just like that; SPLAT on the walls and ceiling, even my shoes!! *sigh* it was fun, with all the adrenaline running BUT the cleaning was tough work. So unexpected, the cake was suppose to be eaten the traditional way.

Look at us two grannies, I think that we were treated 'brutally' not getting the special treatment we truly deserve XD ok just kidding

Took a group pics with my friends. Adrienne's hair all down while mine was up looking like a bald-o. But sadly, Kuok wasn't in the pics, so were the rest of the party planners.

After they left, Kuok and the party planners, LiTee and Adrienne stayed to clean up the place. The horror, we used half of the full large bottle of floor detergent and the floor still stink of cake and oil. After showering and smelling oh-so-good, took a finale picture.

Next day, bright day, bright eyed~ Ready to snap some proper pictures HAHA went to 1U with LiTee before she left for Penang.

holiday holiday holiday...

guess some of us are currently having our holidays now.. have been in brunei for 10days.. met a few friends last week when watching Transformer with them.. and becoz of swineflu, Brunei's school holiday is gonna be extended for another week, which means, no school for another week!! but actually, i find it no point doing it, as some of them will be going overseas for another few days since holiday is still on... anyways, teachers need to be in school as usual to prepare work for students when they return nextweek.. I havent met any of them except for Mrs.Shafee and Chester through badminton... as usual, played badminton on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with those gangs..

i'm be heading off to KL tomolo, de 2nd july, to attend a three days course with dad... and will be going to Hatyai, Thailand on 6th and 8th to Penang for a week before i come back to Brunei... n after tat, a week later, my holiday's gonna end and gotta go back to Uni for second semester... I really hope the disease gonna end soon, is really scary hearing them increase day after day.. there are 42 cases in Brunei Darussalam, and the outbreak here was in June 20. in 11days, there're already tat many.. these few days, de cases are increasing by 10... hai~ when can it end??

went to gadong mall yesterday morning and met up with Marlene, AiPeng and Denise who juz came back from Omar.. we went to Cheezbox for a chat before Denise went to Centerpoint to meet her friends.. three of us walked around and later i went to SnowHouse to join my sis, Anna and JiaWei and we went to Cheezbox again to meet Karen.. talked talked talked until de time passed...

BoonHui booked ticket for Transformers at 4.30pm, around 15 of us watch de movie, but we sat separately.. BoonHui bought tickets for himself, me, my sis, Anna, KarMun, Laura, JiaWei, KelvinSoo, Wilson, Nabil, Arvin, JasonChin, Robin, and de rest.. something I don understand here, wat's so special about transformer?? hahaha... coz u know wat? de WHOLE cinema only have one movie.. and in all de shows, de seats are full!! tat's de first time i see such thing happen..

after movie, wanted to take pictures with everyone before I leave, but my sis told me tat my mum's waiting for us.. so after de show, we rushed down to meet my mum.. meimei bought a piece of pizza from pizzahut, i wanted to buy some bun from de shop but couldn't find any i like.. and suddenly, i heard boonhui's voice.. they're outside!! they're outside!! lol... they're juz outside FunDonut.. so i get to take a group picture with them before I leave.. good.. =)

reached brunei on monday morning, thought i'll be able to meet someone I know in de plane, but who knows, i dunno anyone at all!! SAD.... my family went to fetch me from de airport, and we went to de new Excapade in kiulap for lunch, after tat, went back home to rest and played badminton at night with de usual gang BoonHui, Calvin, MrPhang, Mrs.Shafee & family, Adrienne's bro, BaeWei and few other new faces..

finished my exam on 18th june.. and went down to HunterValley to buy wine and down to Sydney city on de next day... went for Imax with WeiRen at night, de LARGEST IMAX IN THE WORLD.. watched 'StarTrek', a 2hours movie.. n de following day, went down to my FAR relative place.. and had dinner with him n his family before we left australia..

de next morning, a van brought us to Sydney International Airport and there we departed to Singapore.. both of us wore mask during de whole journey back AND, we're de only ones wearing mask... in de airport, as well as in de plane... ONLY US!!! we went out of de terminal and guess wat?? eileen was waiting for us outside!! and laughing at us... hahaha.... why?? coz we're de ONLY person wearing mask at de airport.. 3 of us went around singapore using MRT and bus.. went to Kim Gary for lunch, den went shopping whole afternoon, and hawker stall for dinner... love shopping with eileen!! i miss you!!! hope to continue shopping in singapore next month.. =)

Went out with Kuok. Rode LRT. This was taken in the LRT, rode from my place to HangTuah then monorail to Bukit Bintang. Still learning the ropes of handling the LRT. HAHA see my eyebags =X

Met up with Salihin then went to Pavilion. What an uber-high class shopping complex filled with all the branded good: you name it; you see it. Ate at Nando's. =) Ordered mineral water and it cost rm3.50, it's in a Nando's bottle LOL but I forgot to take a picture of it.

Walked over to TimesSquare. Tired after all the walking as we went window shopping searching for some stuff so we quenched our thirst with some healthy fruity-tooti drinks. Turned out it was a bad combination.(watermelon and soya, orange and celery)

Next up, the bowling alley, OK fine I did not play as I wasn't wearing socks and bowling just ain't my cup of tea. So they both played instead. And below is the proof of the funny looking bowler hehe

Passed by and saw some promotion for Kotex(guys ain't suppose to read this) and saw that they have this cute lil box, adorable. I bought it and they gave the lil pouch as a free gift *grins*

14/6- Happy Birthday to BoonHui! I know its belated written on the blog but well, I don't blog much so just be grateful your name is here. Went out with Kuok and Salihin(Kuok's friend from NS) Was hanging around at Pavilion and Times Square. Pictures up when I have the mood. Had dinner with beloved at SushiKing, Midvalley. Was a good day.

15/6 - 1st day of Sem2 for P109. It was okay, I guess. Mr David Chong was like, "I'd like to meet 5 of you later. Lee Weei Foong!" I was sitting at the side with my hands up high. "Lee Weei Foong" And I started waving my hand *still don't look at my direction -.-; hopeless* some more the rest were staring at me, some even pointed at me. Guess am transparent LOL. Anyway, he then told us that we gotta have some 'informal' lunch with representatives from the Royal Pharmacy people from Britian who came for accreditation for IMU. After class, went out with Kelly and her friend(whose name I forgot) to watch 17Again. Zac Efron = Hotness to the max!!! *sigh* I'm sure all the girls out there who have watched it already will agree with me ;) I had popcorn for lunch -.- what a depressing meal. Moving on, we dined at KimGary after that. My whole day was sorta DOOMED, my touch and go seem to be having mood swings, sometimes work and sometimes it just doesn't cooperate. So had to buy tickets twice. Slept late that night which results in me waking up late the next day -.-

16/6- As if things weren't bad enough yesterday, today really seem to have iced the cake. Wokeup late thus not having to put contacts on AND had my hair looking like a broom. To make matters worse, I locked myself outta my room so I had to call the owner to help me. Thank goodness that she wasn't at work today so she came to my rescue. Watched GossipGirl Season2 ^^ and,also had a slight tiff with the bf. Hopefully get it ironed by tomorrow. I'm tired of all this, it seem to have drained everything outta me. And baby, I want you to know that am sorry. Sorry for doing things you didn't want me to. Sorry making your faith in me vanish. Sorry about last night at Feng's house. Sorry for everything. And don't worry, your birthday will be much more special than that, this I promise. I just hope that in the future, you won't make petty things into such big deal. I Love You

study break this week, but I actually still have lessons for some subjects.. so WeiRen, Vivian and EngSiang also went to university to study.. I had lab from 3pm till 4pm this afternoon and WeiRen actually went to the computer lab to play restaurant city while waiting for me.. something went so funny on his restaurant city..

WeiRen's actually using Apple MAC instead of de normal microsoft we used.. but I cant find print screen on the Mac keyboard, so I use my camera to take de pictures... see wat's wrong?? his workers all had become INVISIBLE... hahahaha.... so strange.. I never had tat before...

till you have to read the blog of how an average girl spends her holiday doing, nearly absolutely NOTHING worthwhile.

This is gonna be a long post of how I spent my 3weeks here in Brunei. Everyday eat, sleep,shit and face the computer screen at home. Starting to become a couch potato with vampire eyes(the purple eyebags). I haven't done anything productive. I was suppose to learn cooking, do sports or craftwork but NO! *sigh* I'm even procrastinate on the time to blog. But since my time in Brunei is coming to an end (am leaving on the 5June), I shall start blogging about it now.

So far, these are the highlights of what I did during my stay here, not according to date(let the pictures do most of the talking):

I went out for 'Night at the Musem' with BoonHui, WanMei, Anna and Kelvin then we all have to leave as Anna got tuition after that since both her and Kelvin got exams. The rest of the MD people had exams too so can't meet them. It's depressing, really, not even a day to spare. Studies is important after all, so I shall so stop whining or drown myself in self pity.

This is Kiwi Kawaii the puppy. Currently 4months plus. A she. Loves to follow people around and bite stuff. A cutie. Can't imagine, nextime when I come back, she would have been a giant and please, ignore my ugly self.

Just came back from Miri yesterday. Gotten new spectacles =). Stayed overnight at Grand Palace Hotel with family. Might me the last time we had a vacation as a family. It was great though, eventhough it's only for a short time =O and we spent a lot of $$ there. Saw a lot of angmoh there, was suppose to be staying at Park City Everly Hotel but was full. Depressing. We even tried Mega Hotel and Regalia(I think) Hotel but fully booked. That's what happen when everything was last minute(we only packed our bags the morning before as never planned to stay overnight, since the 'good' bro wanted to stay at home and out with his friends but didn't know the parents forced him HAHA) Tiring but was worth it in the end. Even shopped and got some cheap new stuff hehe. Pictures up next time as lazy to upload the pictures now.

P.S: I realize the photo quality sucks and my style of writing makes it a bore. Extra BOO! I might be sounding like a pessimist but it's the truth. To digress; I have a HUGE pimple on my nose AGAIN! grr~

I remember back then 8years ago, we were having dinner. All of a sudden, we saw bright lights and the slam of car doors. "The puppy is here, the puppy is here!!!" We left our half done meals on the table and scrambled out to welcome our new member of the house. It turned out we saw a pudgy and bubbly bright eyed puppy which is as black as the night jumped out of the car. Although I wouldn't say it was small or light enough for me to carry liked I wished him to be, he was still a love at first sight. The way he scampered across the garden investigating every single nook and corner was a sight to behold. He even bullied Jacky and nudged him around playfully. As the years passed, Hunter being a Labrador grew in size and was bigger than Jacky. However, he still respected Jacky eventough he tend to bully him at times. Honestly, those two are a pair to watch. Total opposites that managed to get along fine in the end.

I don't mean to brag but I remember there was this one time many years ago when I wrote for a pet magazine and it was IN. regarding Hunter =) the memories it evoked, oh well.

See the bright eyed cutie pie below. He joins us in games and listened and obeyed us when it comes to certain commands. He was always eager to do his best. Whenever my parents came home, he would always be ready in the kennel so someone just needs to lock the kennel door for him. There was once he barreled over to me and knocked me off my bike like a charging bull. Then there was this other time I fell off my bike and cried and he came over curiously and sat next to me. So adorable~ like a real human with feelings who understands. We had car rides together where we all could smell your body odour. It wasn't the greatest smell but I kinda miss it. We went to the beach together when you go for a swim. We went for jogs together where you would be follow us obediently yet trying to be 'mr bodyguard'. Then you would be a naughty boy when you were young and tried to chew the slippers and get spankings from daddy. It's so you, isn't it. But good thing you got out of your old habit. There was also the time when you played in the plastic pool we had O.O such a kid u were.

The great black knight who protects his territory. I wouldn't say he bite but he just barks like mad to ward off strangers. It can get quite annoying to others though. However deep inside, he is an old softie. During thundering rainy nights you would always scrape on the door and try to find a way in and hide under the couch or somewhere near us. Our dear big baffalo.

Just wanna say we love you, Hunter. You would always remain in our heart.

Jess 19th Bday

yesterday was Jess's 19th birthday... and we did actually planned something for her but we're not sure if she'll be at home or not... so, vivian n i tried to find excuses to ask her telling her tat global ppl will be coming (sorry jess)... and jess told us tat she'll be back home after 4pm as she's having lesson there... so we thought we've got enough time to create a surprise party for her... after lunch, 3 of us went out to prepare stuffs for the party.. after tat, we went home..

started to open de balloon packet and starting blowing balloons... feels like going back to child time.. weiren blew balloons while vivian n I wrote on de balloons... a while later, weiren told us 'jess is back!!' den we got so shocked... but is not real... few minutes later, I told them that we should be doing all these in weiren's room, JUST IN CASE jess suddenly comes back... as soon as I finish my words, I SAW JESS!! OMG!!!! den i starting shouting 'JESS IS BACK!!!!' den vivian got shocked n ran somewhere.. while me, stand behind de door wanted to lock de door... when jess opened de door, 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!' and she was shocked!!! LOL...

and and... our plan failed!!! how sad.... why is she so early back home?? she told us tat her lessons was boring, and she doesnt wanna attend, so she came back early... haizzz.... so, we had pizza for our lunch together.. and later, jess went up to rest... Jess hasn't open the fridge.. so we still can have plan B... good.. muz make it a success... and so, we brought the balloons up and put outside jess's room... I continued blowing while vivian continued drawing on de balloons..

as soon as Negin come back, we planned to knocked jess from her sleep and give her a real surprise with de cake.. vivian=hold de cake.. weiren=camera man.. wanlu&negin=poppers..

we knocked on her door few times before she actually wokeup..

This is a belated post about last Friday. I went out with TanKelly (or Penelopy XD); the orang Penang who share same birthday as me, and adores pink =D. Was suppose to out early at 11am but sleepy and delay, you know la, girls all very luo suo. Rode the LRT to Midvalley, the train was different type that time, got toilet and the seat in front got the foldable table like those in the airplanes until we nearly thought we went on the wrong train, the type that travel long distances like go Penang or something. But didn't take picture of the train. HAHA only got pictures of the vain us in PINK in it.

At Midvalley we stopped at every kiosk like some sakai people who never went to malls before haha. So we took quite a long time to reach from 1 end of the mall to the other end. Ate at Sushi King, wanted to go to the one near to the petshop but there don't have seats beside the conveyer(sp?) belt. They managed to clear one but gave it to another group who were after us -.- just cause they were 3 people. Then went to toilet and took vain pictures, must make use of their large toilet mirrors, kekeke and as you can see, pink is in~

And met Kuok outside the toilet in front of a perfume shop. He was busy playing InitialD at the arcade and just met up with us that time.

Exams are finally over, thank goodness~ No more studying till 2am and waking up at 7am the next morning. No more facing the books for 1month.(unless I fail EOS then don't know how) FREE!!! But I wouldn't say I did very well for the exam, there is a possibility to fail. Hai~ Moving on, my posts abt pre-exam and post-exam. It's kind of mixed but there are pics =D lousy quality pictures which doesn't depict much sorry.

7May - Right after exam, followed KarYan's car to Sunway Pyramid. Nearly kena langgar by a lorry; scary~ Somemore the Indian driver came out to take some plank and can laugh at us again just because he saw our O.O faces. Met with the rest and ate at Itallianies. The rest because I still don't know some of their names, sad I know, the only thing I know is ALL GIRLS. AND KahLian had some allergy toward some rare mushroom from the set meal of spaghetti containing tuna. SO beware, don't eat that when you go. Went window shopping with PeiYin, Audrey and KahLian to find for KahLian's mother day present. KaiXin gota go work while KarYan went with her friends. Reached back Vista around 6pm then showered and rest a while then at night went ut again~ tired. Julia fetched me to Midvalley where we met the rest. Different group of people again but too lazy to put down all the names. Went to singK and had buffet dinner at RedBox but sadly, I am not like WanLu with her camera so not much picture to show the great food. People go singK but I go to listenK HAHAHA.

So you can imagine, study and online till late for the past month. Then still out after exam whole day, am like dead the day after that but still out again. Will blog about it in the next post. Now focus on blogging about the past and long overdued.

lalala... no topic for this post today... nothing much to post actually... as we're currently busy with our upcoming exams, assignments, project and homework.. our final year exam timetable has juz come out... and we juz realise tat we only have exam during de first week... meaning, we'll be having 5 weeks break of holiday!! my last paper, STAT1060 actually falls on 18th June... which means I'll be free from tat time till 27th July when de second semester starts.. so wat should I actually do during de 5 weeks break?? stay here?? go back?? any suggestion???

the weather here is starting to become colder n colder these few dayz... but de temperature in Newcastle is not as cold as de temperature in Melbourne and Tasmania yet.. Melbourne's temperature is currently less den 10degrees throughout de day.. while Tasmania is around there as well.. it's only de starting of Autumn and de weather is oledi tat cold.. AND YET, I still can see ppl wearing sleeveless, shorts and slippers to uni?? how do dey stand it!!! OMG... autumn, leaves r starting to fall from trees, I wonder if my uni's leaves will fall or not.. as mentioned earlier, my uni is juz like forest.. TREES EVERYWHERE!!! and de first two weeks in uni, I had mosquito bites everyday... till my hand become so ugly!!! arghh....

F***ed up day

Today is SO not my day, if you are expecting some happy news or events going on for this post then sorry to disappoint you. I'm just here to release all the pent up anger and frustration plus disappointment that I have of myself onto this blog.

Results for class test just out today. I found out about it at around 12+pm. Then I kept calling to find out but it's ALWAYS either voicemail or 'please call again ..min later' And my credit kept decreasing over NOTHING. Finally managed to know my results at 4+pm. And received more bad news, I failed a subject. Passing mark only 40% and still FAIL. If it's 50%, most probably fail more subjects. That's how lousy my results are. Just imagine the horror. Never imagined myself with such shitty results. Study break 2weeks, 1week has gone by with little progress. Gotta catch up on more studying for the 2nd week, don't wanna waste all my parents effort and $$.

1st sem is supposed to be easy, that's what all the seniors claimed to be. So must do well. Hai~

IMU Ball

Early morning wokeup then went to saloon to do hair at 12pm. Had to wear the hairnet for several hours, so embarassing. Then went to J.W.Marriott Hotel at Putrajaya, grand hotel but didn't get to take much picture as busy. It was raining on our way there and we were kinda late. Came back late aroun 2am. Busy the whole day. Had free Domino Pizza for dinner hehe.

Taronga Zoo

WeiRen and I went down to Sydney on Sunday morning and we met Vivian n EngSiang at Circular Quay and sat ferry and skyway up to Taronga Zoo.. it took us around 15 minutes from Circular Quay to Taronga Zoo..

it took us few hours to finish walking de whole Zoo.. here's de map.. we managed to walk all around de place.. =)

we saw a lot of animals in de zoo.. some were super cute till I wanna carry n hug them back home.. LOL.. but some was sleeping.. maybe is cold, so dey sleep.. we saw panda, crocodile, different kinds of birds, frog, lizards, snakes, iguana, giraffe, zebra, chimpanzee, deer, emu, hippopotamus, flying fox, elephant, bear, tiger, lion, red panda, langur, bat, sea lion, penguin, goose, seal, rabbit, sheep, chicken, turkey, pig, platypus, kangaroo, peacock, fishes, turtle, chameleon, gecko, gila monster, skink, mullet, ostrich, flamingo, duck, eagle, quail, pigeon, cockatoo, owl, kingfisher, wallaby, monkey, gibbon, squirrel, orang utan, rat, mouse, porcupine, guinea pig, malayan sun bear, leopard, fishing cat, tapir, bongo and lotzz and lotzz more...

in de evening, we sat train to Sydney Easter Show... will post up soon when I'm free.. hope you guys enjoy ur Easter break.. =)

first of all, sorry for not updating for quite some time.. was kinda busy studying and playing around.. LOL.. hmm, EngSiang came last week.. and he went down to Sydney with Vivian the following day while me, staying home studying and weiren watching movie.. on Sunday, WeiRen and I went down to Sydney to meet Vivian and EngSiang.. and it had been a long day.. weiren went down early in de morning juz to eat chinese food but who knows, chinatown's restaurants all don open tat early.. and so, 4 of us went to Taronga Zoo using ferry and skyway(cable car).. saw lotzz of animals, but sadly wanlu still couldnt pet koala bear and kangaroo.. =P dey're so!! adorable..... omg.... i wan them as my pet!!!! blehzzz..

after visiting animals, we went to Royal Easter Show by train.. it's not as fun as wat I thought.. maybe becoz we din go for any rides there?? those rides there are Extreme!! genting and sunway lagoon still lose to them, dunno if I've de courage to go on those rides or not.. there're too crazy d.. LOL.. but I guess it'll be fun... each ride cost you more den $7.. it's damn expensive, so 4 of us juz walked around.. there're also many food stall, animal farm, souvenir shops, lotzz more.. not forgetting de fun fair games tat we had a 'pooh' in return.. LOL.. will post up pictures when I'm free.. currently still resizing them..

on de next day, we meet up with Judy and KokChin and dey brought us to Sydney Fishmarket.. we ate lotzz of seafood there.. they're really nice, and really very cheap.. wonder when will be de next time we go down to sydney again.. hehe.. but a trip down to sydney costed us a lot, as u know, there're lotzz of food to eat down there which we cant find in Newcastle.. =) we drove back newcastle in de evening..

yesterday was the second time WeiRen and I went to HunterValley.. we went with Vivian and EngSiang, again, took many pictures overthere.. will update more soon.. =)

Instead of being all emo, I'll just post up some random pictures. I feel that my life is empty and my test was bad. That's sad, academics= fail, social= fail. The only thing that can pass is having a bf and some friends that care<3(juxtapose) Maybe after posting this up then I can kid myself that my life is filled with colours after all, gah~ who am I kidding.

Anyways, moving on to the so-called randomness.

We had bakuteh. The first shop we went to was closed, damn soi =( so we had to go elsewhere, but the bakuteh was good =D (no pics of the tea XD)

Newcastle Showground

Newcastle had its showground exhibition last weekend.. Vivian, WeiRen and I went there one of de dayz.. there're quite a number of interesting stuffs I found there... de fun fair seems cool, but every expensive.. imagine a ride which cost you $7.00 per person, do u wanna ride on any of them?? and some of de small stall's gaming area, cost you $4 per play.. tat's scary... i miss genting!!! genting's duckie!! LOL... but din manage to win anything from there.. but de thing is, here, is expensive!!!
